Keller Williams Realty Raises $3,405 for Agents & Associates In Need

At Keller Williams, caring isn’t just something we talk about, it’s something we live out every day. One of the most powerful examples of this commitment is KW Cares, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting Keller Williams associates and their dependent family members when they need it most.

Each year, our office comes together near the holidays for a tradition rooted in generosity and community. Associates bake homemade goodies, donate their time and talents, and enthusiastically auction items off to one another, all for a greater purpose. This annual fundraiser is more than just a fun event; it’s a meaningful way we rally together to support fellow associates facing sudden emergencies.

This year, thanks to the incredible generosity of our team, we raised $3,405 for KW Cares, a true testament to what’s possible when a community comes together with shared values. Click here to watch our fun, chaotic Bake Sale!

The Impact of KW Cares Over the Years:

LA Wildfires (2025): KW Cares began 2025 by responding to the devastating wildfires that ripped through Southern California, impacting associates in primarily 3 regions. Approximately 70 associates were displaced, 28 homes belonging to KW family members were destroyed, and 1 business center lost. KW Cares dedicated to helping our KW Family rebuild.

Hurricane Milton (2024): Hurricane Milton hit Florida right on the heels of Hurricane Helen. Thankfully, the devastation wasn't as severe as originally predicted and we were able to act quickly. KW Cares delivered supplies to our Market Centers, funded 78 emergency grants, totaling $188,001 to help with immediate needs and began taking applications for catastrophic hardship grants.

Hurricane Ian (2022): When Hurricane Ian hit, three Command Centers were needed to respond to the impact. KW Cares awarded $3.6 million in grants and resources. In fact, 72% of our entire annual grants/assistance budget was distributed in response to Hurricane Ian. Following the storm, we set up a warehouse presence in South Florida to hold a reserve of resources (including 500 generators) to continue to ensure immediate responses.

Joplin, Missouri Tornado (2011): The 2011 Joplin tornado that assailed the Missouri town of 50,000 people left devastation everywhere. The storm hit the KW Family particularly hard. Will Norton, the son of KW agent Mark Norton, was tragically killed when he and his dad were driving home from Will's high school graduation ceremony. During Mega Camp that year, attendees at Party with a Purpose raised $150,000 to help two Joplin Rotary Clubs fund The Will Norton Miracle Ball Field, a specially adapted field for children with disabilities.

KW Cares reminds us that our greatest strength isn’t just in what we build as individuals, but in how we support one another as a community. Through generosity, compassion, and shared purpose, we continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our fellow associates, one act of care at a time. If you feel led, we’d be grateful for a donation to KW Cares to help support our KW family in times of need. [Donate Here]
